Halsey is opening up candidly with her fans. The "Control" singer—who, in 2024, revealed her diagnoses of lupus and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder, a broad term encompassing diseases linked to the overproduction of white blood cells—has given her fans a health update as she gears up for an exhilarating new chapter in her career.

Halsey Details Undergoing Chemotherapy for Rare Disorder in Life Update 1

"Just dropping in here to give you all a quick round of updates," she began in a Sept. 25 TikTok video. "I've just completed another few rounds of chemo and had a new port installed." Indeed, in the clip, Halsey sports medical tape on her collarbone and chest. Chemotherapy is frequently employed to treat T-cell lymphoproliferative disorders, targeting the aberrant cells. The "Without Me" artist offered further insight into these treatments in a comment, responding to a fan who mentioned her husband undergoes similar treatment for lupus and blood cancer, inquiring about Halsey's experience during treatment.

"I also can't stand for a week or more," Halsey replied in a comment. "You see me between treatments when I have energy. Time flies when I'm recovering, so it doesn't feel as long, but it's definitely a considerable while." She continued, "Shoutout to your hubby for being a total badass and sharing a dual diagnosis with me! Much love to both of you!"

But Halsey's health isn't the only news she wanted to share with her fans: She's also preparing for her upcoming tour. "We've just put together the Back to Badlands show, and it's going to be absolutely incredible," she gushed. "So amazing. My birthday's in a couple of days, and I'm so swamped that I haven't even given it a thought." The almost 31-year-old continued, "We start rehearsals very, very soon, and I'm over the moon with excitement. I'm bringing back some really fun, nostalgic touches from the very first Badlands tour. I'll be performing the entire album, plus a bunch of other extra fun tracks."

And by her side through thick and thin is Halsey's fiancé, Avan Jogia, whom she got engaged to in September 2024. As she has previously raved about the Victorious star, he can handle anything life throws their way. "There's nothing I could ever bring up that would scare him," Halsey said on Call Her Daddy in October 2024. "There's no conversation we can't have. He's so solution-oriented. Everything between us is always aimed at finding a solution and improving."
