Holly Madison and Zak Bagans have officially parted ways. In a poignant conversation with her "Girls Next Level" podcast cohost, Bridget Marquardt, this week, Madison, 45, opened up about the recent passing of her dear friend Luke “The Dingo” Trembath, and amidst the sorrow, she revealed that her relationship with the "Ghost Adventures" host, 47, had come to an end for good.

"And just a day after that somber event, Zak and I called it quits, for real this time," Madison shared, her voice tinged with finality. "I know we've had this on-again, off-again thing going on, and you might be thinking, 'Didn't you guys break up last spring?'" Marquardt echoed the sentiment, acknowledging the pair's tumultuous history, saying, "'Are they together? Are they not?' It's been a mystery to us all."

"It was indeed very on-again, off-again," Madison conceded. She elaborated, "Our relationship over the past five-and-a-half years has been marked by these ups and downs, especially in the last year. This time, we decided to part ways, and for the first time ever after any of our breakups, we unfollowed each other on social media."

"That's when you really know it's over," Marquardt chimed in.

People magazine had previously confirmed that the former "Girls Next Door" star and Bagans had started dating in June 2019, following Madison's divorce from Pasquale Rotella, the founder of Electric Daisy Carnival.

Marquardt and Pasquale, 50, share a beautiful bond as parents to two children, Rainbow and Forest, born in March 2013 and August 2016, respectively.

In March 2024, Madison, a bestselling author, exclusively spoke to People about how her relationship with Bagans deepened after she was diagnosed with autism at the age of 42.

"Looking back, I realize how challenging it used to be for me to connect with people," Madison confided to People. "I think this played a part in some of the choices I made. I used to think, 'Oh, this must be meant to be because I've never connected with anyone this easily before,' when in reality, it was just the difficulties of being on the spectrum."

She added that Bagans had been incredibly supportive of her diagnosis. "I'm fortunate to be with someone who has always understood and accepted me for who I am. So, when I got diagnosed, it wasn't a huge surprise to him," said the former Playboy model. "I'm lucky that in recent relationships, I haven't struggled much to feel an intimate emotional connection with someone."
