Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are taking the "Kardashian Curse" by the horns! To debunk the viral internet rumor that dating one of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters inevitably leads to their boyfriends' sports failures, these two siblings are determined to silence the chatter for good.
On February 6, Kim shared a screenshot of her Fanatics bet for the Super Bowl on Instagram Stories, declaring, "Here me out ... I'm proving the curse ISN'T real because one of us will win." The 45-year-old placed a 69-cent bet on the Seattle Seahawks defeating the New England Patriots during the February 8 matchup, potentially earning $347,222.

Kylie Jenner, the Kylie Cosmetics founder, followed in her older sister's footsteps. "Kim traded on the Seahawks," she wrote on Instagram Stories on February 8. "Am I saying I copied her by trading on the Seahawks?" she asked, referencing Kim's infamous line from "The Kardashians" about sister Kourtney copying her Italian wedding. Kylie suggested that she placed a bet of her own in favor of the Seattle team.
Their wager comes after sister Kendall Jenner pledged her allegiance to the New England Patriots after enlisting former NFL star and analyst Tom Brady to help her choose a winner. "I am trying to figure out who I want to go for for the Super Bowl and I am an information person," Kendall told Tom during a FaceTime call on Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show" on January 28. "I feel like I need all the information I can get to make an educated decision. I was thinking you're the perfect person to ask for that information." Ultimately, she decided to "go with the underdog."
The 30-year-old added, "I feel I'm going to go Patriots." Recently, Kendall poked fun at the fictional curse in a new Fanatics Sportsbook ad for Super Bowl 2026. "Haven't you heard?" Kendall asked in the ad, which will officially air as the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks face off on February 8. "The internet says I'm cursed."
"Any basketball player who dates me," Kendall continued as she lit a match and threw it into a basket of NBA jerseys, "kind of hits a rough patch." Throughout the commercial, the 818 founder showcased her lavish lifestyle that she credits to betting against her boyfriends. She joked, "While the world has been talking about it, I've been betting on it. How else do you think I could afford all of this? Modeling?"
She finished off the commercial with a laugh, adding, "Kardashian Curse...it's not even my last name."
