For the third time in his illustrious life, Nick Jonas found himself celebrating his birthday amidst the familiar hustle and bustle of a Camp Rock movie set. This time, however, the occasion was graced by the presence of his beloved wife, Priyanka Chopra, 43, alongside his elder brothers, Joe Jonas, 36, and Kevin Jonas, 37, adding an extra layer of warmth and familial joy.

"How on earth did I end up celebrating my birthday on the set of Camp Rock for the third time?" Nick, who had previously graced the screens in 2008’s Camp Rock and 2010’s Camp Rock 2, penned on Instagram on September 18. "At 15, 17, and now, the absolute best yet, at 33."

Accompanying his post were snapshots from the set, including a heartwarming moment of him blowing out candles on a birthday cake nestled in a wooded location. In a tender message dedicated to Priyanka, with whom he shares a 3-year-old daughter, Malti, he simply wrote, “My [heart emoji].”

Nick's nostalgic return to his Disney Channel roots came hot on the heels of the official announcement of the third installment on September 17. The upcoming film will feature the Jonas Brothers reprising their roles as the fictional band Connect 3, making a triumphant return to camp. While Demi Lovato will not be stepping back into her role as Mitchie Torres, she will be contributing her creative vision as an executive producer.

“The narrative unfolds as Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour, prompting them to return to their cherished Camp Rock in search of the next big sensation,” a press release revealed. “As campers compete for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to open for their idols, tensions flare, friendships are put to the test, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations, and even romances.”

Interestingly, Joe had first teased the threequel during an August 12 appearance on Hot Ones Versus, where he was challenged to read the latest entry in his Notes app aloud. The DNCE frontman didn't hesitate, declaring, “Read Camp Rock 3.” And true to his word, he confirmed, “It’s the truth.”

“It’s literally right here,” Joe added with a mischievous grin. “Sorry, Disney.”
