Stephen Baldwin couldn't be prouder that his daughter is firmly on the road to remarkable success. Nearly four months after Hailey Bieber's beauty brand, Rhode Skin, was acquired by e.l.f. Beauty for a staggering $1 billion, her father lauded her for reaching "various levels of experience and achievement."
"Just look at my daughter. I don't often talk about her, but what my daughter has accomplished is nothing short of extraordinary, relatively speaking," the "Usual Suspects" actor remarked on the September 18 episode of Tori Spelling's "MisSPELLING" podcast. "But in today's world, over the past decade, it's not unattainable. It's happened before."
Stephen, who shares Hailey and his other daughter, Alaia Aronow, 32, with his wife Kennya Baldwin, added, "These types of successes are becoming more common."
The 59-year-old also hinted at his pride in Hailey's choice to pursue a career in the beauty industry rather than following a different, perhaps less fulfilling, path. "And young people are raking in unimaginable sums of money online in ways that are often dubious," he continued. "So, God bless her."
In June, Stephen elaborated on what he believes sets Hailey's career apart. "She's incredibly intelligent, especially in business," he said on "The Adam Carolla Show." "She achieved success as a model before venturing into everything she's doing now. But the cool part was she actually turned down a pretty significant and exciting opportunity in the cosmetics industry a couple of years ago."
Moreover, Stephen pointed out that his youngest daughter wanted her company to offer products that "weren't just a bunch of nonsense" or simply bear her name. "The reason it's thriving is that people are responding to it," he explained. "It genuinely delivers on hydration and all that."
Despite his children's enormous accomplishments, Stephen knows they'll always be his little girls. "The sweet thing about my kids is that, amidst all their success, their dad remains a constant," he gushed. "I've always been the same. You know you're going to get the truth from your daughter's dad."
And he's always there for them, no matter what. "I let my kids pursue their dreams," Stephen shared. "And if they ever want to throw a boomerang of challenges my way, I'll always be there to catch it and call them back."
