Hulu has acquired a college-set comedy headlined by "Stranger Things" star Gaten Matarazzo and former "The Goldbergs" cast member Sean Giambrone. Penned and helmed by comedy duo BriTANicK, comprising Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher, this feature film charts the misadventures of a band of college students who order a pizza to their dormitory. However, what begins as an innocuous descent down two flights of stairs to fetch their meal quickly evolves, amidst a disastrous drug experience, into "a mesmerizingly transformative odyssey," as described by the logline.
Produced by Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps of American High, the studio behind fellow Hulu originals such as "Plan B," "Big Time Adolescence," and "The Binge," the film also boasts production credits from Billy Rosenberg of All Things Comedy, alongside Jason Zaro, Max A. Butler, and Molle DeBartolo. Gaten Matarazzo serves as an executive producer.
