During the third week of Sean "Diddy" Combs' highly anticipated federal sex trafficking trial, a dramatic turn unfolded as his former assistant, testifying under the pseudonym Mia, recounted a chilling encounter with the music mogul. On Thursday, May 29th, Mia stood before the court and narrated how Combs, after inquiring about her proximity, seized her phone and dashed into a bathroom, effectively holding her electronic device hostage.

Mia vividly described how she "abandoned her heels in haste," chasing after Combs barefoot, only to have the heavy door of the commercial building slam shut repeatedly on her hand. "He sprinted past me, down the stairs, and onto the streets," she recounted of Combs, whom she crossed paths with again later that day at a recording studio. It was then, Mia alleged, that Combs threatened her in an almost bullying manner, claiming, "I sent all your naked photos to my phone, ensuring I have leverage over you if you ever have anything on me." Mia insisted, however, that such photos did not exist and that Combs' assertion was a blatant lie.

Furthermore, Mia expressed relief that Combs had missed a text message she had sent to his stylist, Derek, prior to the phone seizure. The message, which labeled Combs as "being a jerk right now," revealed her underlying sentiment towards him. She also shared how Combs' insults left her feeling "terrified" and "humiliated," confessing, "I didn't understand why I deserved it. In my mind, I made countless excuses for his behavior."

During her tenure with Combs, spanning from 2009 to 2017, Mia's role reportedly involved deciphering his daily mood, which dictated the flow of their interactions. She also leveled accusations of sexual assault against Combs and recounted witnessing him physically abuse his ex-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura.

Combs, who faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution, has steadfastly maintained his innocence. His trial, which commenced with opening statements on May 12th, is now projected to conclude in five weeks, shortened from the initial six-week estimate.
