Todd and Julie Chrisley have been joyfully reunited once again. This devoted couple, who have been married since 1996, finally stood face-to-face on Thursday, May 29th, following a poignant two-year absence. They had been liberated from their respective federal prisons just a day earlier. Their beloved daughter, Savannah Chrisley, eagerly documented this heartwarming moment on her Instagram Stories, capturing a tender glimpse of her parents' legs as they sat opposite each other, the image overlayed with the caption, "Reunited, and oh, how sweet it feels!" The sentiment echoed vividly through the image.

This reunion occurred mere days after President Donald Trump announced his decision to grant a full pardon to the Chrisley Knows Best stars, who were convicted of tax and bank fraud in 2022. During a May 27th phone call, Trump addressed the Chrisley children, stating in a video, "It's a terrible thing, but it's a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean." He added, "I hope we can do it by tomorrow. ... I don't know them, but give them my regards and wish them good luck." The President also acknowledged that Todd and Julie had received "a pretty harsh treatment, based on what I'm hearing."

The following day, the pardon was officially signed, leading to their release. Savannah, 27, eagerly awaited her father's release outside the Florida facility where he was being held, having been there since "2 a.m. the previous night." As she waited, she was dressed in a pink ensemble, featuring a "Make America Great Again" top and a matching trucker hat with Trump's name on it, as shown in a video obtained by TMZ.

On the same day, her 19-year-old brother, Grayson Chrisley, traveled to Kentucky to pick up their mother. Todd and Julie were indicted in August 2019 and found guilty in 2022, resulting in a combined sentence of 19 years in prison (later reduced in September 2023). They have been appealing their case ever since, with Todd's appeal upheld and Julie's initially granted due to insufficient evidence, but later overturned by a judge who deemed her original punishment sufficient.

Savannah revealed her parents' disbelief upon hearing the news of their pardon, stating, "They didn't believe it. It just came out of nowhere." She added, "Over the past 24 hours, I've received an overwhelming amount of both love and hate. Some people have even speculated about what I might have done to secure this pardon." She clarified, "I didn't have to do anything other than stand firm in my beliefs and convictions, fighting for my parents and what was right."

Later, Savannah posted a short clip of her dad on his way home, showing just his bicep as a teaser. She playfully asked, "What are you trying to get me to do?" keeping his face out of the shot. He replied, "Feel that muscle," extending his arm for her to touch. She exclaimed, "Oh yeah, feel the muscle! I'm not gonna lie, it's hard." He quipped back, "Todd is jacked," adding a touch of humor to their joyful reunion.
