On March 23rd, Kübra Karaaslan, a rising TikTok star from Turkey, tragically passed away at the age of 21. Known for her captivating lifestyle content and a substantial following on social media, Karaaslan was found to have jumped off the Osman Gazi Bridge, a suspension bridge near Gebze, Turkey, as reported by local outlets NTV and Daily Sabah.
Bystanders allegedly recorded the moment of her demise, which swiftly went viral across social media platforms. According to NTV, local authorities immediately rushed to the scene and transported the internet personality's body to a nearby state hospital, where she was subsequently pronounced dead. The outlet characterized her death as a suicide.
It's also reported that Karaaslan had closed her social media accounts, including her popular TikTok page, at some point before her death. Her funeral was held in Ümraniye, Turkey, by those close to the late content creator, and she was laid to rest in Kayabaşı Cemetery in Istanbul.
