In the realm of personal drama, the tale of Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt is akin to a tango, where two dance partners intertwine their ambitions and emotions. As the stars of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, their recent feud boils down to a shared dream: a spot on Dancing With the Stars.

Jen's candor on their Hulu series' third season, premiering November 13th, reveals the intricate dance of their desires. "Since the day I met her, I've told her I wanted to go on Dancing With the Stars—it's literally one of my dreams," she shares, only to be met with Whitney's "Oh wait, I've always wanted it" when an opportunity arises.
Whitney, in her own confessional, acknowledges that the chance to be cast on DWTS was a significant "motivator" for her to remain in the group alongside Taylor Frankie Paul, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Demi Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura, and Layla Taylor. However, she also stresses her presence for "sisterhood," despite being accused by some of fostering "hostility" upon her return. "This is exactly why I didn't want to come back," she says, "but there's this amazing opportunity, and it's something I want. So, I'm going after it, and there's no shame."
Both women ultimately found their way onto DWTS' 34th season, Jen paired with Jan Ravnik and Whitney alongside pro dancer Mark Ballas. However, Jen's early exit in October hinted at lingering tension between them. During a TikTok Live, she quipped about rooting for a former MomTok colleague but drawing a line in the sand when it comes to discussing their relationship. "Unfortunately, some things happened, so we've just taken a step back," she tells E! News in early November, adding that they're "not on good terms."
Whitney, too, didn't reach the DWTS finale but is grateful for the opportunity. "I wanted to give it my all every single dance," she tells E! following her elimination. "There's just some things that are out of your control, but I'm gonna leave just knowing that I gave it my all."
