Jennifer looked effortlessly elegant in a sheer full-length gown with floral detail by Givenchy, completing her ensemble with a matching clutch. This evening is sure to be a memorable one for the 35-year-old, who is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role alongside Robert Pattinson in Die My Love. She's going up against fellow nominees Jessie Buckley from Hamnet, Renate Reinsve from Sentimental Value, Julia Roberts from After the Hunt, Tessa Thompson from Hedda, and Eva Victor from Sorry, Baby.

Playing the role of Grace in the Lynne Ramsay-directed film was particularly affecting for Jennifer, as she could relate to her character's journey as a new mother. After welcoming her son Cy, 3, and a second baby in 2025 with her husband Cooke Maroney, she shared with E! News in November, "As a mom, especially when I was a new, first-time mom, my community and having a mom community was so vital. Having a community is so, so important and just being able to check in with other women, like, 'Is this normal?'"
Jennifer drew on that experience when playing Grace, who struggles with postpartum depression. "It was really easy for me to see and follow that path of isolation and how much that would affect my mental well-being," she explained. "I had more information than I would have if I wasn't a mom because I have the perspective from the child, which I just wouldn't have had before if I wasn't thinking about another person's nervous system all day, every day. I just wouldn't be aware."
Becoming a mom has also changed how the Oscar winner approaches her career. "It's not just when I'm shooting a movie," she said, noting that her kids even affect what time of the day she reads a script. "It just changes everything."
