Jennifer Lopez handled a wardrobe mishap with professionalism and grace during a recent concert stop on her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour. On Friday, just a day after celebrating her 56th birthday, the singer was performing in Warsaw, Poland, when the incident unfolded.
As Lopez took a break mid-show to change her attire, her backup singers and dancers emerged on stage, serenading her with "Happy Birthday" upon her return. Grateful for their gesture and the enthusiasm of her fans, Lopez expressed her thanks — only for her sparkling gold skirt to accidentally slip to the ground right after. Despite her attempts to catch it, the skirt fell away.
"Oh!" she exclaimed, adding with a chuckle, "I’m out here in my underwear." A dancer swiftly approached her with the skirt, attempting to reattach it, but Lopez played it off with humor. "That’s gonna be everywhere," she laughed. Giving up on the skirt, she tossed it into the eagerly waiting crowd.
"I’m glad they reinforced that costume," she remarked, "and I’m especially glad I had underwear on — I don’t usually wear it. OK!" When a fan from the audience asked if she wanted the skirt back, Lopez generously granted them ownership. "You can have it. I don’t want it back, forever and ever," she said, bursting into laughter.
Amidst thunderous applause from the delighted crowd, Lopez shared her heartfelt gratitude and an inspiring message. "I am so thankful to be here in beautiful Warsaw on my birthday," she began. "Surrounded by my incredible dancers, my band, my crew, everyone… I am truly blessed. While I don’t often dish out advice, as we’re all on our unique paths… if I had one piece of advice for you, it would be to find what you love and pursue it with passion, alongside the people you cherish. That’s the recipe for an amazing life, from experience. And I firmly believe that the happiness in your heart is directly tied to your sense of freedom. I wish you all the same joy, freedom, and the warmth you’ve given me tonight. Feel free to love openly, embrace your true self, pursue your dreams fearlessly, and live your life to the fullest. I just want you to feel free."
Embodying good sportsmanship, Lopez uploaded the video to her official YouTube channel, where it has garnered over 310,000 views to date, capturing the moment and her unwavering charm.
