Jennifer Lopez spoke highly of Brett Goldstein, gushing about their on-set chemistry while discussing her experience working with the Ted Lasso star in their film, Office Romance. In a recent interview at the Netflix Upfront in New York City, the multi-talented Lopez revealed that the chemistry between them was "great" from the start and only grew stronger as they filmed the movie together.

"We had great chemistry to begin with," Lopez said. "It just grew as we did the film together." She then shared that Goldstein's personality was "totally different" from what she had expected. "I expected more of a rough guy, but you get this kind, gentle but also very smart person that is so charming. That was a surprise, I think."
Lopez, who is a fan of Goldstein's work in Ted Lasso, particularly his portrayal of Roy Kent, which is one of her favorite characters, added that she had thought he would be more like his on-screen persona. However, she found him to be "so soft-spoken and sweet and totally different."
The film, which also features Lopez as Jackie Cruz, a CEO who falls in love with her newly hired employee, Daniel Blanchflower, played by Goldstein, tells the story of two individuals who decide to "stop playing by the rules and start following their hearts." Co-written by Goldstein and Joe Kelly, Office Romance will be streaming on Netflix on June 5.
