News, Jessica, who shares three children with Cash—Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7—is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their kids. Citing "irreconcilable differences," she listed December 27th as the official date of their separation.
Earlier in January, TMZ broke the news of Jessica and Cash's breakup, following months of speculation fueled by Jessica's public appearances without her wedding ring and a cryptic Instagram post summarizing the highlights of 2024, notably excluding Cash. In her December 31st post, Jessica reflected on the Year of the Snake, writing, "The Year of the Snake teaches us profound self-improvement, encouraging growth from within and expanding our consciousness. It reminds us that becoming a better version of ourselves allows for greater flexibility, shedding rigidity, and embracing transformation."
Accompanying her caption about new beginnings, the Fantastic Four actress included several inspirational quotes in her carousel, hinting at reclaiming power in 2025. One quote read, "Ending the year with a heart full of gratitude, lessons learned, and no regrets." Jessica concluded her post with a note of anticipation, adding, "This enables us as empaths and lightworkers to strive for expansion within our collective consciousness."
Since the dawn of 2025, the 43-year-old has remained undeterred, her light undimmed. On January 13th, the Honest Company founder ventured out for the first time since news of her separation from Cash for a casual lunch trip to Erewhon in Los Angeles. Eyewitnesses reported that Jessica appeared in high spirits, later enjoying a picnic in a nearby park with her youngest son and a friend.
Despite their separation and the preceding breakup rumors, Jessica and Cash have maintained a united front. Just days before their breakup was confirmed, the couple enjoyed a trip to Universal Studios to celebrate Hayes' birthday.
