According to J-Hope, the members of BTS are every bit as anxious to reunite following their break as their devoted fanbase, ARMY, is to witness this highly anticipated event. In an excerpt from his forthcoming interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, premiered by Teen Vogue on Monday, April 28th, the "Chicken Noodle Soup" crooner imparted an update on the boy band's future amidst RM, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook's impending conclusion of their mandatory military service in South Korea.

With a close-captioned translation at hand, J-Hope eagerly anticipated June, when his fellow bandmates would have completed their service. "I eagerly anticipate June, marking the culmination of our members' military duties," he began. The star then unveiled that the septet's reunion would be swift once the final five members had wrapped up their enlistments. "Upon their return, we'll swiftly convene to discuss BTS's future endeavors," he revealed to Lowe. "I foresee a surge of immense energy."

This interview arrives a tad over six months after J-Hope became the second BTS member, following Jin, to be discharged from military service. The chart-topping band has been on hiatus for nearly two years, as each member fulfilled their mandatory service commitments, with all seven releasing solo projects during this interval.

"Over time, we've each honed our unique identities through individual music projects and pursuits," J-Hope shared on Apple Music 1. "The amusing aspect for me is how our diverse identities, shaped in various ways, will converge once again as BTS." He added with curiosity about their impending reunion, "I wonder what it will look like."

Since beginning his now-completed military service in February 2023, the South Korean singer has released numerous solo tracks. In March of that year, he collaborated with J. Cole on the single "On the Street," roughly a year before unveiling his EP, HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1, which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.

BTS last delighted fans with an album in 2020, with "Be" topping the albums chart. This LP featured the smash hit "Dynamite," which reigned supreme for three weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.
