Jinger Duggar Vuolo is eagerly anticipating the making of enchanting memories this Christmas. The alum of "19 Kids and Counting" revealed that she and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, haven't celebrated Christmas with her family since their 2016 wedding—but all that is about to change this year as they reunite with her parents, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar, in Arkansas. "We're going to step into the Duggar house to discover what Christmas is like," Jeremy shared on their podcast episode for December 22. "But here's the thing. We haven't been back to the Duggar house for Christmas in nine years since we got married."

As for the reason behind their long absence, Jinger, who shares children Felicity, 7, Evangeline, 5, and Finnegan, 9 months, with Jeremy, explained, "The reason we haven't been back for Christmas is because that's the only time of year that your family is all together. So throughout the years, we've decided, 'Okay, that's going to be the time we spend with the Vuolo family over Christmas.'" Meanwhile, they would see Jinger's relatives during other significant milestones. "They're always together a lot," she said. "So it's easy for us just to pop back. We went back three times in one year for weddings. So you're like, 'Oh, we weren't there for the holidays.' But we were there for multiple weddings."
Indeed, although Jinger published her explosive memoir Becoming Free Indeed in 2023, the 32-year-old has remained in touch with her family. They recently got together to attend a women's conference in Texas, with Jinger posing for a rare photo in October alongside mom Michelle and sisters Jill Duggar Dillard, 34; Jessa Duggar Seewald, 33; Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth, 28; Johannah Duggar, 20; Jennifer Duggar, 18; Jordyn-Grace Duggar, 17; and Josie Duggar, 16.
Jeremy understands that Jinger has missed traveling from their home in California to see her family during Yuletide. "You've started to get real nostalgic about Christmas," he noted on the podcast. "So, we're going back." Jinger agreed that it's "exciting" to reunite again and added one more special motivation for returning to see her 18 siblings: "I want our girls to experience a Duggar family Christmas. And I miss it."
