Comedian John Mulaney has denounced the violent and menacing messages his family has been subjected to, following remarks made by his wife, Olivia Munn, regarding the popular children's YouTube personality, Ms. Rachel. In an emotional Instagram Story, Mulaney voiced his indignation, stating, "A harmless observation from my wife Olivia Munn about our family's preferences in children's programming has somehow, incredibly, been twisted into a perceived disregard for the tragic loss of life in Gaza."

The saga unfolded when Olivia Munn shared her personal views on children's television in an interview with People magazine. She commented, "I understand kids adore [Ms. Rachel], but honestly, if I can't stand watching it, I refuse to let it drive me insane. Those children's shows just push me over the edge." She further revealed that her son Malcolm had requested to watch Blue's Clues, to which she firmly replied, "Absolutely not. Not under my roof."

Ms. Rachel, who has championed humanitarian efforts for children in Gaza, addressed the uproar on her Instagram account, saying, "I'd much rather you highlight my advocacy for children in Gaza." She clarified that her statement was not directed at Olivia personally and extended "all my love to her and her family."

In a subsequent post on her Instagram Story, Olivia Munn apologized for any misconceptions, writing, "My words were never intended to detract from the immense joy, solace, and positive impact she brings into countless homes. I wouldn't want a snippet taken out of context to rob anyone, even for a fleeting moment, of the happiness she provides."
