Catherine Harding is sharing her perspective on the recent incident that involved her daughter, Ada Law, her husband, Jorginho, and Chappell Roan. The encounter, which took place at a hotel, allegedly involved Chappell's security guard speaking aggressively to Ada after the 11-year-old walked by the singer's table to take a glance at her.

Catherine, who is the mother of Ada and was in a relationship with Jude Law, expressed that she didn't anticipate the situation would escalate to such a chaotic level. In her March 22 video, she clarified that the security guard was not affiliated with the hotel but was rather an individual who looked after artists. She emphasized that she couldn't confirm if it was Chappell's personal security guard, but he was with her.

The mother recounted the experience, stating that they were having breakfast together when they saw the "Pink Pony Club" singer sitting at a garden table. Ada, a big fan of Chappell, decided to walk by to take a look. "She literally didn't do anything, she just looked at her," Catherine explained. Ada wasn't even sure if it was Chappell at the table. However, things took a turn when the security guard approached them with an aggressive tone, as described by Jorginho.

Catherine couldn't say for certain if Chappell had sent the guard over or not but felt that it "overstepped a boundary" due to the guard's intimidating demeanor. Although they ultimately didn't attend the concert that night, which was Ada's birthday present, Catherine expressed hope that Chappell didn't authorize the guard's actions and praised her as a very talented artist.

Chappell, who is known for setting boundaries with fans and paparazzi in the past, addressed the situation on Instagram on March 22. She clarified that the security guard in question wasn't part of her personal staff and that no one came up to her or bothered her while she was having breakfast at the hotel.

"I did not ask the security guard to go up and talk to this mother and child," she said. "They did not come up to me. They weren't doing anything." Chappell also spoke out against the security guard's actions, stating that it's unfair for security to assume someone doesn't have good intentions without any reason to believe so. She expressed regret towards the mother and child and apologized for their discomfort.

Overall, both parties have expressed their perspectives on the incident, with Catherine hoping for better behavior from those who work with celebrities and Chappell apologizing for any discomfort caused.
