On Sunday, the Recording Academy confirmed that Justin Bieber would be gracing the stage at the Grammy Awards this weekend, marking his debut performance on Music's grandest stage since the 64th Grammys in 2022. This year, Bieber is up for four Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year for "Swag," his first record since 2021's "Justice." He's also in the running for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best R&B Performance.

In recent years, public performances from Bieber have been scarce during his hiatus between "Justice" and "Swag." However, he's set to headline Coachella this April, which is shaping up to be one of the biggest festivals Coachella has organized in years, with tickets quickly selling out when they were listed last fall.
Prior to the announcement of Bieber's performance, the Academy had confirmed that Sabrina Carpenter, Clipse, and Pharrell Williams would also be performing during the ceremony. Additionally, there will be a segment featuring all eight of this year's Best New Artist nominees: Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Katsete, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Sombr, and The Marías. The Academy has stated that more performances will be announced in the coming days.
The Grammy Awards are set to air live this Sunday on CBS and Paramount+ starting at 5 p.m. This will be the last year the ceremony airs on CBS, ending a decades-long partnership as the show will move to Disney next year. This is also Trevor Noah's last time hosting the show, ending a six-year streak in which the comedian has served as emcee.
