This week, several ex-associates from Justin Bieber's entourage voiced their apprehensions regarding the pop icon's financial predicament and overall well-being in an article featured by The Hollywood Reporter. Now, Bieber's team has finally addressed the buzz surrounding the narrative.
Published on Wednesday, the article in The Hollywood Reporter alleged that Bieber was millions of dollars in debt following the cancellation of his Justice World Tour in 2023 and was financially stretched beyond his limits. The piece quoted several individuals who had once been close to Bieber, expressing their genuine concern for his condition.
In response to the article, Bieber's team broke their silence this week, branding it as "clickbait stupidity" filled with "inaccurate assumptions." They issued a statement to Us Weekly, stating, "This is merely clickbait stupidity based on unnamed and evidently misinformed 'sources' who are disappointed about no longer working with Justin. As Justin carves his own path forward, these unnecessary tales and incorrect presumptions will undoubtedly persist. However, they will not dissuade him from staying steadfast on the right track."
These revelations come amidst Bieber's somewhat perplexing and unconventional social media activity.
Last month, Bieber posted an intriguing message on his Instagram story, seemingly acknowledging unacknowledged "hate" that was making him feel as if he were "drowning." "I was always told when I was a kid not to hate. But it made me believe I wasn't permitted to harbor it, so I never confessed to anyone that I did," he penned on March 16. "This left me feeling like I've been drowning, unsafe to acknowledge it. I believe we can only let go of hate by first acknowledging its presence. How could we not feel hate after enduring all the hurt we've experienced?"
Just a few days prior, on March 13, Bieber made another cryptic post on his Instagram story, confessing that he had always felt "unworthy" of his success and like a "fraud."
A few days later, Bieber made another mysterious social media post, admitting in an Instagram caption that he had "anger issues" but was striving not to "react so much." "I got anger issues too, but I want to grow and not react so much," Bieber wrote beneath his post.
Since then, Bieber has been spotted at the Coachella Music Festival in the California Desert, where he had a few encounters with the paparazzi.
