Kacey Musgraves delivered some fiery remarks to a presumptuous fan during her recent concert. A TikTok video, which quickly went viral, captured the singer's performance in Tampa, Florida, on Friday, where she walked amidst the crowd at the Amalie Arena while serenading her fans. In the clip, a hand is visible grasping her arm, prompting Musgraves to halt abruptly and exclaim, "What the f—k?" She resumed her walk to the stage afterward, adding a curse into the microphone as she moved.
A second video, shared from her concert in Hollywood, Florida, the following night, saw the "Follow Your Arrow" singer addressing the incident. "Last night, this Tampa b---h," she joked, eliciting laughter from the audience and boos towards the offending individual. "You guys, I know. She somewhat spoiled the experience for everyone," she continued. "I thought I'd have to unleash my East Texas side on her. Take off my earrings," she added, followed by, "Well, Florida can be fierce too."
Representatives for Musgraves, who is currently embarked on her Deeper Well World Tour, did not promptly respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. Fans rallied around Musgraves' expletive-laden response to the fan who grabbed her.
"I despise how swiftly they extinguished her smile. Who does such a thing?" wrote one person. "Normalize these artists/celebrities defending themselves and watch the behavior cease," penned another. "Because when they react, it's often the celebrity who's perceived as wrong in the public eye."
Musgraves is just the latest celebrity to confront overly aggressive fans during a concert. Last month, Zach Bryan halted his concert at the Tacoma Dome in Washington after someone threw an object onto the stage, hitting a member of his band. "Don't throw s--- at concerts, huh?" he told the audience before exiting to check on his bandmate, adding, "And if you guys know who threw it, we can escort them out. If we ever find out."
