Kacey Musgraves is gearing up for her own extraordinary encounter. After years of witnessing "mind-bending phenomena" in the skies, the "Slow Burn" singer was able to document the "absolutely wild, UFO-like orb experience" she and her manager Bobby experienced during a flight from Fort Worth, Texas, to Nashville.
"I noticed them. I'm a detail-oriented person; I always notice things," Kacey shared with her fans in an Instagram Story posted on April 10. "I was about to take a nap when I caught sight of these lights that didn't seem ordinary. I watched them for a minute, and they were definitely trailing each other."

The 37-year-old said she and Bobby watched the orbs for around 45 minutes from their altitude of roughly 50,000 feet, even capturing several videos—which she also shared—although it was challenging to focus on the lights as "they were far off and it was nighttime."
"These orbs weren't moving like any craft we can control," Kacey explained. "They were intermittently coming and going, forming triangular patterns. They had an orangeish hue."
But she said the potential spaceships kept changing while following the plane all the way to Nashville. And when they arrived at their destination, she said their pilots had also seen them.
"Both pilots were chuckling a bit. They said, 'Yeah, we've seen these every single night, and all the other pilots are seeing them too. But no one knows what they are,'" Kacey shared. "One of the pilots said, 'Yeah, I was in New York last night and I saw them,' and the other pilot said, 'I was in Dallas and I saw them too.'"
The "Dry Spell" singer reached out to her fans, asking if they had witnessed any unexplained alien phenomena, because this was just one of the "countless, very strange, inexplicable things" Kacey has experienced throughout her life.
Despite having low-quality footage as proof of the orbs, she was well aware that many would question it.
"You could have the best, most high-quality footage of something," Kacey said, "and no one would believe it anyway."
"Stuff is weird," she added in a follow-up. "But I'm here for it. I'm open to it. I'm here for it."
