Just a day prior, Middleton had shared her intention to gracefully resume some of her royal duties this summer, kicking off with the king's birthday celebrations. This announcement came amidst her ongoing cancer treatment, demonstrating her remarkable resilience and determination.

"I have been deeply touched by the countless heartfelt messages of support and encouragement I have received over the past few months," she penned on social media on Friday. "Your kindness has truly made a world of difference for both William and me, especially during those tougher moments. While I am making steady progress, chemotherapy, as many know, brings both good and challenging days. On the tougher days, I feel weak and exhausted, needing to surrender to the need for rest. But on the brighter days, when my strength returns, I cherish every moment of feeling well and make the most of it."

After stepping back from her royal duties in January to recuperate from a routine surgery, the annual celebration of the monarch's birthday marked a triumphant return for Middleton. This appearance followed months of speculation surrounding the princess' health, with some unfounded rumors even suggesting she had disappeared. However, in a heartfelt video, Middleton revealed her cancer diagnosis and ongoing treatment, showing her unwavering strength and courage.

In her Friday social media update, the princess also provided a glimpse into her health journey, writing, "My treatment is still ongoing and will continue for several more months. But on the days when I feel well enough, it brings me immense joy to engage with school life, indulge in activities that fuel my energy and positivity, and even embark on some light work from home."

Her resilience and grace in the face of adversity have been an inspiration to many, reminding us of the power of hope and determination in overcoming life's challenges.
