Kelsea Ballerini isn't about to let rumors run wild. When the 31-year-old "Miss Me More" crooner postponed a handful of her upcoming tour dates, whispers began to swirl about a possible pregnancy. On February 7th, Friday, Ballerini took to TikTok with a video that directly addressed these rumors.
The clip, adorned with the caption "Maybe pregnant?!", featured Ballerini, visibly congested and adorned with eye patches. She placed her phone down, stepped back from the camera, and hung her head in a gesture of mock disappointment. "Or, perhaps it's just the flu," she said, sniffling, and added with a touch of irony, "Yeah. Fantastic."
Recently, the "Cowboys Cry Too" chanteuse had to reschedule three of her concert dates due to illness. On February 6th, Thursday, the singer, who is currently on her Kelsea Ballerini Live Tour, shared on her Instagram Stories that her performance in Buffalo had to be aborted midway due to health concerns.
"Buffalo, I am deeply sorry that I couldn't finish tonight's show," she apologized, referring to her concert at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY. "I'm sicker than I care to admit, and I didn't want to disappoint anyone. I managed to get through just a couple of songs before I had to call it quits. I'm truly sorry, but I refuse to give you anything less than my best," she continued. "I promise to pull out all the stops for you and make it up to you tenfold," she pledged. "I'm going to rest up and get better so I can truly shine for the rest of this tour."
Ballerini and her beau, Chase Stokes, are still going strong since their romance sparked dating rumors in January 2023. The country music star and the Outer Banks actor marked their two-year anniversary on January 7th, with Ballerini sharing some intimate, never-before-seen snapshots of them on Instagram, along with a heartfelt note celebrating their enduring love.
The post showcased pictures of them enjoying quality time on the beach, at home, traveling, and with their dogs, Dibs and Milo. She also included a humorous video of Stokes cleaning up after Dibs, who had just left another "present" behind, prompting the Netflix star to joke that he was in "purgatory."
"Two years of catching each other's moments in countless cities, perfecting our chimichurri steak recipe, and creating a world centered around our furry friends," Ballerini penned in the Instagram caption. "I love you so much, my teammate."
