Kesha recently shared a unique and intriguing detail about her personal history, revealing that she transformed her mother's placenta into a necklace. The 39-year-old pop icon disclosed that her mother, Rosemary, insisted on keeping the placenta after her birth, choosing to bake it and store it in a box in the family's basement for two decades. When Kesha rediscovered this treasure trove, she had it transformed into a piece of jewelry that she now carries with her everywhere.
During an appearance on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, Kesha lost the necklace during the interview and spoke candidly about its origins. She explained, "Your placenta is supposed to grant you second sight and help open your third eye, according to my mother. So, she stuck it in the oven. She put it in a box, and she found it when I was around 21 years old in the basement..."

She added, "She fought to prevent doctors from throwing it away, so now I carry it around..." The 'Blow' singer also mentioned the creative process of turning the placenta into jewelry, saying, "Throw it in the blender, pop it in a necklace. Work!"
Kesha went on to share her love for rituals and the esoteric world she prefers to inhabit. "I'm like a cult leader... I just love a ritual that reminds me of this world I prefer to live in," she said. "Down here on Earth, it's boring. But when I go up into the realm of my spirit guides and angels, that's where I prefer to be. It's kind of fun."
Furthermore, Kesha revealed that she collects teeth and turns them into jewelry, including specimens from her loved ones and her beloved cats. She explained, "It just reminds me when I have a little piece of the people I love. I've been collecting them for a while now... I have my cats' little teeth because they had to get them removed for various reasons."
She continued, "They're little kitty wisdom teeth. I collect those too. I'm like the tooth fairy," gushing about her fondness for keeping pieces of her loved ones close to her heart.
