Kevin Costner, a Hollywood veteran, has recently embarked on a quest to diversify his acting portfolio, following the disappointing box office run of "Horizon" and his bitter departure from the acclaimed TV series, "Yellowstone." Reports indicate that he has sealed a deal with Amazon MGM studios to headline his maiden comedic venture, titled "Honeymoon with Harry," alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. This film, helmed by directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, stands as a potential turning point in Kevin's career, marking his first project since "Horizon's" underwhelming performance at the box office.

In an earlier conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Kevin reflected on the challenging debut weekend faced by "Horizon" after its June 28, 2024, release. He expressed, "I was genuinely thrilled to see 'Horizon' translate perfectly onto the big screen. That visual realization holds immense significance for me in this journey."

With a touch of humility, Kevin added, "Would I have loved for it to achieve sky-high success? Absolutely, who wouldn't? My ego, like everyone else's, craves that validation. But above all, I'm most content knowing that the movie we're discussing today looks precisely as I envisioned it."

In June, Kevin revealed that retirement is far from his mind. "Retirement isn't even a flicker in my thoughts; I'm constantly drawn to whatever ignites my imagination next," he confided to PEOPLE magazine. Sharing insights into his future career aspirations, Kevin enthusiasmed, "While I do have a list of desires, I prefer not to label it as such. My eyes are wide open, my enthusiasms boundless, and I'm eagerly embracing every new opportunity that comes my way."
