Khloe Kardashian's beloved 3-year-old son, Tatum Thompson, carries a special bond with his late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., even in the afterlife. The reality star revealed that Tatum, who shares a connection with his father through the nickname his grandmother, Kris Jenner, is called by. "My mom, her grandma name is Lovey," she told Theresa Caputo of Long Island Medium during the Feb. 4 episode of Khloe in Wonder Land. "My son Tatum calls her Honey." According to Khloe, Kris would "start bawling" every time Tatum referred to her as such, saying, "That's what your dad used to call me." The 41-year-old emphasized that no one encouraged Tatum to use this term.

This isn't the first time Khloe has drawn a connection between her son and her father. In 2023, she spoke about how Tatum and Robert, as well as her brother Rob Kardashian, all share similar personalities. "He's the sweetest, most affectionate little man," Khloe wrote on X (formerly Twitter), who is also a mother to 7-year-old daughter True Thompson with Tristan. "He really reminds me of my dad and my brother. It's beautiful."
According to the Good American co-founder, Tatum also has a "sarcastic" sense of humor like Robert. "My dad had a really dry, silly, just crazy sense of humor," she shared during a 2024 appearance on SHE MD. "There are glimmers of my dad in Tatum, and I'm like, 'This is so freaking weird.'"
Kris Jenner fully believes in the spiritual connection between Tatum and her late ex-husband. She shared on an episode of The Kardashians last year that her grandson "sometimes says goodnight to his grandfather." "You have a 3-year-old telling you about his conversations with his grandfather, who he's never met," she added. "It's extraordinary."
