After attending the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars Party at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Sunday, March 15, the SKIMS founder, 45, shared several clips and photos on Instagram that were taken while she was getting ready for the event. In the first snapshot, Kardashian posed in a figure-hugging gold Gucci gown on a golf cart alongside the Italian brand’s creative director, Demna. Her shimmering dress, which debuted on the Milan Fashion Week catwalk last month, was paired with platform heels and a tousled side-parted shoulder-length hairstyle.
The reality TV star opted for nude lipstick and smoky eye makeup with the addition of icy blue-colored contact lenses. She accessorized with Ofira Jewels. The post included a video that zoomed in on her face for a closer look at her dramatic transformation. She was seen posing with one hand in her hair while leaning against a vanity table.
In two other clips, Kardashian modeled her floor-length gold gown from different angles, and shared a second photo with Demna. “DEMNA 4 EVER @GUCCI,” she captioned the post, which was shared in the early hours of Monday, March 16.
Gucci’s creative director reshared the photos of himself and Kardashian on his own Instagram. He also posted a photo of Kardashian’s glittering gown hanging on a clothing rail alongside her huge platform heels from before she put the outfit on. “DEMNA AND KIM #Oscarsafterparty,” Demna captioned the post.
Kardashian’s choice of outfit at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars Party was a stark contrast to her look worn to the event in 2025. Last year, she donned a strapless white Balenciaga ball gown that was likened to the Vera Wang dress she wore when she wed her second ex-husband, Kris Humphries, in 2011.
Kardashian has most recently been romantically linked to British F1 racing star Lewis Hamilton. The rumored couple were photographed at Arizona’s Lake Powell earlier this month. On Oscars Sunday, Hamilton was at the Shanghai International Circuit racing in the Chinese Grand Prix, where he placed third.
The SKIMS founder is mom to four children with her ex-husband Kanye West: North West, 12, Saint West, 10, Chicago West, 8, and Psalm West, 6. Kardashian’s edgy look at the Vanity Fair event comes after she expressed a desire to influence other fashionistas in a recent Complex interview. “Even though I might wear something that might seem inaccessible, I think it can be relatable and obtainable through my choice of simple colors and silhouettes,” Kardashian told the outlet. “I’ve always incorporated simple things that can be easily replicated.”
