Kim Kardashian is showcasing who's the real boss to her former robbers. In a sneak peek of the December 4 episode of "The Kardashians," the 45-year-old reality star revealed her desire to wear diamonds while testifying in court against the individuals involved in her 2016 Paris robbery, stating, "I want to taunt the f--- out of these losers." And that's precisely what she did.

On May 13, Kardashian arrived at the Palais de Justice court in Paris to testify at the trial of those suspected of being involved in the shocking jewelry heist. While she looked sleek in a black blazer and matching long skirt during her courthouse appearance, her dazzling diamond jewelry stole the show.

Most notably, the SKIMS founder sported a $3 million diamond necklace by Samer Halimeh New York, crafted in 18K white gold, weighing 57 grams and featuring a total of 80 diamonds and 52.17 carats. She also wore an 18K gold Briony Raymond Sloan Pave Diamond Ear Cuff and a selection of jewelry pieces by Repossi.

"This isn't just another public appearance; it's the first time she has come face to face with the people who tied her up, held her at gunpoint, and stole millions worth of jewelry," jewelry expert Laura Taylor, who is not associated with Kardashian, told PEOPLE at the time. "She knew the cameras would be there, the images would be shared globally, and in typical Kim fashion, she made sure she was in control of how she was seen."

As for what reportedly happened during the Paris robbery? While Kardashian was staying at the No Address Hotel for Paris Fashion Week, five men dressed as policemen allegedly broke into her room and tied up her hands and feet before putting her in a bathtub. "They grabbed me and took me into the hallway," she said in a police report at the time, according to French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche. "I was wearing a bathrobe, naked underneath. Then we went in the room again and they pushed me on the bed. And, it was this time, they tied me up with plastic cables and taped my hands, then they put tape over my mouth and my legs."

They then put her in a bathtub and stole millions of dollars of jewelry from her, including two diamond Cartier bracelets, a gold and diamond Jacob necklace, Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings, a gold Rolex, and other items. "They ask for money. I said I don't have any money," Kardashian explained to her sisters during a 2017 episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." "They dragged me out on to the hallway on top of the stairs. That's when I saw the gun clear, like clear as day. I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs."

"I was like, 'I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision,'" she continued. "Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back? It makes me so upset to think about it. Either they're going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don't, if the elevator does not open in time, or the stairs are locked, then like I'm f-----. There's no way out."

Nearly a decade later, after the trial was postponed several times because of its complexity, Kardashian took the stand to testify against the suspects involved in the robbery. Ultimately, eight of the ten defendants were found guilty. "The crime was the most terrifying experience of my life, leaving a lasting impact on me and my family," she told PEOPLE in a statement after the trial. "While I'll never forget what happened, I believe in the power of growth and accountability and pray for healing for all. I remain committed to advocating for justice and promoting a fair legal system."
