The *Bring It On* star went on to heap praise on Tatum for his performance in the true-crime drama. Dunst shared that she has long been familiar with his work and has admired him in numerous films for his unique qualities and depth. "He's such a genuine person. He's such a kind guy. And he's so talented," she added with enthusiasm. "And I'm just really excited for people to see him in this movie, in this role."

Directed by Derek Cianfrance, *Roofman* is based on a true story and follows Jeffrey (played by Tatum), a former Army Ranger and struggling father who resorts to robbing fast-food restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the moniker: Roofman. The film delves into the period after he escapes from prison, during which he secretly resides inside a Toys 'R' Us for six months, surviving undetected while plotting his next move.

However, the narrative takes a dramatic turn when Jeffrey falls for Leigh (portrayed by Dunst), a divorced mother drawn to his undeniable charm. As his double life begins to unravel, his past catches up to him in a suspenseful game of cat and mouse.

In addition to Dunst and Tatum, the stellar cast includes Peter Dinklage, LaKeith Stanfield, Ben Mendelsohn, Juno Temple, and Uzo Aduba. *Roofman* is now playing in theaters.
