Famed "General Hospital" star Kirsten Storms has left fans in a state of shock after sharing some devastating news. Taking to Instagram, the 41-year-old actress posted a heartfelt revelation about her medical condition, for which she will soon undergo treatment. In her post, she wrote, "I wanted to share this because even though my brain seems to be kinda lowkey rebelling against me."
The "Days of Our Lives" star disclosed that she is suffering from a brain aneurysm and will be undergoing surgery "sometime in the next two weeks." In her candid post, Storms revealed, "I had a procedure done that weekend, where the doctor threaded a camera from my leg up to my brain." Elaborating further, she explained, "Anyway, because of the *slightly* complex situation with the aneurysm (nothing bad, just not typical), it wasn’t coiled that weekend."
Kirsten also shared that she is currently staying with her former "General Hospital" co-star and close friend, Emme Rylan, in St. Louis, Missouri, as she prepares for the upcoming procedure. It's worth noting that Storms previously underwent brain surgery in 2021 to remove a noncancerous cyst. According to her, Rylan was by her side during her recovery from that surgery as well.
Fans are deeply concerned for the "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century" star, flooding social media with an outpouring of love and prayers. One fan wrote, "She will be fine! But prayers never hurt!
