EJAE, the rising star of Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters, has officially inked a deal with WME for comprehensive representation, as announced by the agency on Wednesday. The 33-year-old vocalist and lead songwriter behind the animated film's smash hit "Golden," co-written and performed alongside Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna, has cemented her status as a K-pop powerhouse.

Beyond her contributions to KPop Demon Hunters, EJAE boasts a long-standing career as a songwriter for some of the industry's biggest groups, including Aespa, Le Sserafim, Twice, and NMIXX. Her busy schedule this past month has seen the trio take their chart-topping single on the road for live performances on Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
The animated feature has become Netflix's most popular title ever, a surprise hit for the streamer that has seen its soundtrack spend several weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. The project, which chronicles the adventures of Huntrix, a K-pop girl group that also happens to fight monsters from the underworld, has piqued the interest of both Netflix and Sony Animation, with THR confirming that talks for a sequel film are underway.
In August, Huntrix ended Alex Warren's long-standing No. 1 streak on the chart, only to be briefly dethroned by Taylor Swift's Hot 100 dominance. However, the song swiftly rebounded to reclaim its top spot for eight weeks, currently sitting at No. 3. Several other tracks from the soundtrack are also making waves on the Hot 100, including "Your Idol" and "Soda Pop," sung by the film's fictional boy group Saja Boys, at No. 19 and No. 20 respectively, and "How It’s Done," performed by Huntrix itself, at No. 25.
