Building on the success of "Dexter: New Blood" and last year's prequel "Dexter: Original Sin," which culminated in a month-end finale that garnered 2.68 million global viewers, making it Showtime's most-streamed original series in a decade, excitement for the franchise is at an all-time high. Clyde Phillips, the visionary showrunner behind the original and now "Resurrection," previously hinted at the groundbreaking announcements to come, telling The Hollywood Reporter, "Wait until you see the cast announcements. It’s going to blow your mind, big time."

Ritter, whose credits span "Love & Death," Marvel's "Jessica Jones," "Sonic 3," "Orphan Black: Echoes," and "Breaking Bad," joins an already star-studded lineup that includes Uma Thurman as Charley, David Zayas reprising his role as Detective Angel Batista, Jack Alcott returning as Dexter's son Harrison Morgan, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva, Emilia Suárez as Elsa Rivera, James Remar back as Dexter's father Harry Morgan, and Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater.

Phillips, who returns as showrunner for "Dexter: Resurrection," executive produces alongside Hall, Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, and Marcos Siega (serving as producing director for six episodes, with Monica Raymund directing four). The series, a collaboration between Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios, is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution. Ritter is represented by Industry Entertainment & Principal Entertainment LA, CAA, and Brecheen, Feldman, Breimer, Silver & Thompson.

The stage is set for a Dexter saga like never before, with "Resurrection" poised to captivate and thrill audiences worldwide.
