Directorial duties for the initial two chapters fall to James Hawes, who also adds his expertise as an executive producer. Macdonald's prowess was previously recognized with an Emmy nomination for her role in "Boardwalk Empire," the era-defining crime drama that aired on HBO from 2010 to 2014.
