LeAnn Rimes is making it clear that she's striving for a better self. The country star had to cancel two dates of her 30 Years of Blue Tour to recuperate from what she referred to as a "severe illness." On April 29, she wrote on her Instagram Story, "I am unable to travel & perform this week. I'm so sorry to share that the upcoming shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled. But there's good news - we'll be seeing you very soon!"

While Rimes has already rescheduled the Washington concerts to May 31 (Spokane) and June 2 (Seattle), she understands that some fans might be disappointed by the change. The 43-year-old added, "I am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule and I am so very grateful for your kindness and continued support as I recover. I look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon."
Indeed, Rimes has been mostly confined to her bed while battling her sickness, sharing a photo of herself under the covers surrounded by three boxes of tissues on her Instagram Story on April 28. She wrote, "I don't know exactly what I have, but it's BRUTAL! Haven't left the bed."
Unfortunately, it's not the only hardship she's been dealing with lately. The "I Need You" singer recently admitted that her 15th anniversary with husband Eddie Cibrian was marred by challenges at home. She wrote on Instagram on April 23, "We got to step away for 3 days amidst work and some very tense, heart-wrenching things happening at home with family. It's been a different anniversary, one filled with tears and worry, but in between, there were moments of laughter and deep gratitude for this love of ours."
While Rimes didn't disclose what difficulties the couple was navigating, the Grammy winner explained that they were leaning on each other as they continue to "walk hand in hand through the rollercoaster of life." She shared, "I'm so grateful that it's with each other. We know how to ride the waves, hold each other in times of need, mend what needs mending. I'm so proud of what we have created together. 15 years is just the beginning."
