LeAnn Rimes was overcome with emotion after undergoing a 60-second procedure to alleviate tension in her jaw. On Sunday, March 29th, Human Garage, a self-care provider specializing in fascial maneuvers, shared a video on Instagram of Rimes, 43, experiencing their "deep jaw release" technique with their co-founder, Garry Lineham.

The country singer was heard repeatedly saying "oh my God" as Lineham placed one of his hands inside her mouth while a second person held her head still as she lay on a cushion. Throughout the procedure, Rimes was comforted and left shocked by its results, bursting into tears.

"Say that part of my life is over," Lineham instructed her in the video, with Rimes replying, "That part of my life better be over." Rimes' crying quickly turned to laughter as she placed one hand on the side of her jaw that Lineham had just worked on.

"Oh my God, you just don't realize how much tension is in there," she said. "Until it's gone," Lineham chimed in.

The caption of the video explained the purpose of the therapeutic technique, encouraging viewers to try it for themselves. "Healing isn't always quiet. Sometimes it's a physical letting go of things we didn't even know we were carrying," Human Garage wrote.

Describing their "deep jaw release" treatment as "powerful," the self-care provider emphasized how much it benefited the "How Do I Live" singer. "You can see the exact moment the tension breaks and the emotional weight lifts, leaving her feeling visibly lighter and more aligned," Human Garage wrote of Rimes. "The jaw is one of the body's primary storage sites for stress."

"When we hold back our voice or push through pressure, the fascia in the face and neck 'locks' to protect us," they added. "By using the maneuvers to signal safety to the nervous system, we can finally allow that stored energy to move."

Jaw exercises can be beneficial for relieving temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain, according to Medical News Today and Healthline. The joint connects the mandible (lower jaw) to the skull, just under the ears. TMJ dysfunction can affect the neck, shoulders, face, and teeth, per the medical news outlets. It can be identified by pain when chewing, swallowing, speaking, as well as clicking of the jaw and restricted movement. Other symptoms include headaches, earaches, and pain in the face.

Rimes' visit to Human Garage comes after her fake teeth fell out while performing "One Way Ticket" during her show at The Skagit Casino Resort in Washington in June 2025. Following the incident, the Coyote Ugly star revealed in a video uploaded to Instagram that she was undergoing a "plasma exchange" at Next Health in Nashville for a second time.

"Listening to my body and choosing what feels supportive for this season of healing, especially after a very busy year of filming and touring," Rimes captioned the clip on Jan. 15th. "I demand so much from my body and it's incredibly important to me to take the best care of it I possibly can."

She explained that the $10,000 treatment helps to "clear micro-toxins, such as mold and microplastics, and this time, I've added stem cells to encourage overall repair..." "I also want to say this with care, I'm very aware that access to treatments like this isn't universal," Rimes added. "I share with sensitivity and humility, not as a prescription, but as information about what's been working for me."
