The influencer posted an emotional TikTok video, showing herself sorting through boxes and unearthing a striking yellow gown she donned for a wedding celebration with Payne in Paris the previous year.
"This dress imbues me with a profound sense of peace and solace," she shared on Thursday, highlighting its unique "memory" that she vows to "cherish forever." "We attended this enchanting wedding," continued Cassidy, 25, "my very first wedding experience. It was an absolute blast."
From another box, she revealed a pair of distressed Christian Louboutin heels, perfect companions to her yellow dress. The internet sensation explained how the shoes were "practically brand new" before the event but bore the marks of a night filled with dancing and exploring, alongside Payne.
"I vividly remember waking up the next morning and showing Liam the shoes, saying, 'Oh my god, look at the state of them, they're ruined. I don't know what to do with them!'" Cassidy recounted. A police investigation unveiled a picture of excessive drinking and involvement with prostitutes preceding the incident. Five individuals have been charged in connection with Payne's death, including two hotel employees accused of supplying him with drugs.
Cassidy had been vacationing with the "What Makes You Beautiful" hitmaker in Buenos Aires weeks before his demise, and he experienced a emotional downturn when she left, wishing she would stay. In February, Cassidy told the US Sun that they had traveled "separately" and she returned to Florida to care for their dog.
