Jesy Nelson has now embarked on a double journey of motherhood following an exhilarating yet challenging pregnancy. The former Little Mix member welcomed her identical twin daughters, Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster, with her boyfriend Zion Foster, more than seven weeks premature. Hospitalized since March due to a life-threatening complication, these premature arrivals are currently under the care of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

"So… Our gorgeous little angels decided to make their grand entrance at 31 weeks and 5 days," Jesy posted on her Instagram on May 18, accompanied by heartwarming snapshots of herself, Zion, and their bundle of joy. "It all unfolded so swiftly, but we are overwhelmed with gratitude that they are here with us, healthy and putting up a fierce fight! Our hearts have never been more filled with love." She went on, "Let everyone meet Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster, born on May 15, 2025."

Earlier in January, the couple joyfully shared their twin pregnancy news on Instagram with a charming polaroid of Zion cradling Jesy's burgeoning belly. Throughout her pregnancy journey, the "Boyz" singer opened up about the hurdles she faced. In a March 5 Instagram video with Zion, Jesy revealed that their babies were monochorionic-diamniotic twins, sharing a placenta, which posed numerous risks.

"One of the risks is that one baby might consume all the nutrients," she shared, her voice tinged with concern. "Which, unfortunately, could result in the loss of both babies. Currently, I'm in the preliminary stages of Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTS), and I'm under close monitoring."

Due to her high-risk pregnancy, Jesy underwent scans twice a week. "Each time I went," she added, "the situation worsened slightly."

And indeed, it did. A few days later, Jesy announced that she had been hospitalized after a checkup, experiencing exacerbated symptoms, and was preparing for a crucial procedure.

"It's imperative," she emphasized in a March 8 Instagram video with Zion, "as it will give our babies the best chance at survival."

Weeks later, the couple shared some reassuring news. "The TTS has subsided," Jesy exclaimed in a March 30 Instagram video with her beau. "The operation was a resounding success, which is nothing short of miraculous."

And thus, they welcomed a new mother into their fold. However, Jesy, who has been romantically linked to Zion since at least 2022, didn't always envision herself as a mother. She reshared a 2021 Glamour UK interview snippet on social media where she had stated, "I'm not a kid person; it's just not in me." She playfully responded to this older comment by turning to her baby bump and quipping, "That aged like fine wine."
