Lola Tung, the leading lady of Amazon Prime Video's smash hit series "The Summer I Turned Pretty," recently recounted a charming anecdote about Taylor Swift's heartwarming gesture during The Eras Tour in 2023 upon recognizing her. Alongside her co-stars Gavin Casalegno and Christopher Briney, Tung graced "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to promote the show's highly anticipated third and final season.
Tung shared that she and the series creator Jenny Han were seated in the front row as Swift performed "False God," a track featured prominently on the show's soundtrack. She vividly recounted, "We were mere inches from the stage when she caught our eye, waved warmly, and mouthed, 'I love you guys,' forming a heart shape with her hands. I nearly swooned; it was an incredible moment."
When Fallon inquired about her favorite Swift song used in the series, Tung found herself torn between choices. "Both 'The Way I Loved You' and 'Delicate' are phenomenal," she mused. As a devoted Swift fangirl from way back, Tung admitted to having once avidly listened to Swift's albums "Fearless," "Speak Now," and "Red" on her trusty CD player during her youth.
