Bryan Arenales is finally opening up. The season seven winner of 'Love Island USA' has addressed his split from fellow islander Amaya Espinal, with whom he forged a bond after the iconic "Stand on Business" challenge during the Peacock dating series that concluded in July. "Amaya and I have mutually decided to embark on separate paths," Bryan revealed in an Instagram Story on August 27. "Sadly, we found ourselves at odds, but that's alright. We've both come to terms with the fact that our current trajectories diverge."
Despite their romance falling short of a fairy tale ending, the 28-year-old maintains that he harbors no regrets. "I am deeply grateful for the moments we shared," he expressed, "and I sincerely wish her all the best as she moves forward."
Hints of their breakup began swirling when the pair mutually unfollowed each other on Instagram mere hours before the season seven reunion aired on August 25. During the pre-recorded special that followed, Bryan addressed cheating rumors sparked by a video showing him seemingly partying with other women. "They're just trying to hurl accusations my way," he clarified during the reunion. "Regarding the cheating video, I was paid to attend that event. I used to bartend, and I admit, I made a judgment error. We've talked it through."
Two days after the special aired, Amaya confirmed their split in a heartfelt message on her social media. "Bryan and I have parted ways," the 25-year-old wrote on Instagram Stories. "After stepping out of the villa, it became crystal clear that we were on entirely different journeys. Our visions didn't converge, and relationships thrive on unity. You don't need to taste the entire ocean to know it's salty."
While Amaya didn't elaborate on their differences, she echoed Bryan's sentiment that their breakup was amicable. "All love here," she emphasized. "I genuinely wish him the very best."
