In a historic announcement, Bad Bunny has been set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show for the first time. However, the news of his inclusion in the mega-event has garnered a mixed response from the public. In light of this, Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, revealed that President Donald Trump would be watching the Turning Point USA (TPUSA) show instead of the performance by the Monaco hitmaker in Santa Clara, California. She stated during the press briefing, "I think the president would much prefer a Kid Rock performance over Bad Bunny. I must say that."

TPUSA, a conservative organization, is hosting a parallel event they describe as an "All-American" halftime show on Sunday, which will be headlined by musician Kid Rock. A section of conservative circles has expressed discontent with Bunny's supposedly "woke" views. However, Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner, is fully supportive of the Latin singer's appearance on the grand stage. In a press conference, he said, "Listen, Bad Bunny is, and I think that was demonstrated last night, one of the great artists in the world, and that’s one of the reasons we chose him."
Goodell further emphasized the importance of the halftime show as a platform for fostering unity. He stated, "But the other reason is he understood the platform he was on. And this platform is used to unite people and to be able to bring people together with their creativity, with their talents and to be able to use this moment to do that. And I think artists in the past have done that."
Bunny will be performing at the Super Bowl LX halftime show this Sunday, and anticipation is high for his performance.
