The former lead of "Malcolm in the Middle," Frankie Muniz, is poised to embark on a new chapter in his NASCAR journey, committing to a full-time role in the Truck Series for the 2025 season. Muniz will elevate his status from a part-time competitor to a seasoned racer aboard the No. 33 Ford for Reaume Brothers Racing, a leap he's already previewed with two starts in the Truck Series this year under the Reaume Brothers banner.

"We're absolutely delighted to welcome Frankie to our team on a full-time basis and to further deepen our partnership with Ford Performance," said team owner Josh Reaume in an enthusiastic statement. "Ford's backing has been pivotal, and we're convinced that combining Frankie's fiery passion with the momentum we've generated this year will propel us to remarkable achievements in the coming season."

Scheduled to race in the Truck Series event at Homestead-Miami Speedway this Saturday, Muniz has already dipped his toes into NASCAR's second-tier Xfinity Series twice this season, including an exhilarating opener at Daytona International Speedway.

The 38-year-old Muniz, who once stole hearts on the silver screen, expressed his unwavering confidence in the team's potential, stating, "I firmly believe we can accomplish incredible feats together. I'm eagerly anticipating the green light."

His transformation from actor to race car driver has been a thrilling journey, with Muniz having also raced in the ARCA Series, a stepping stone in the NASCAR feeder system. Back in 2006, Muniz raced in 14 events in the Formula BMW USA series, and the subsequent year, he ascended to the Champ Car Atlantic Series. His racing career continued until 2009, when a devastating crash left him with injuries that forced a temporary retreat from the sport.

A lifelong aficionado of racing, Muniz even had the honor of pacing the 2001 Daytona 500—a race eternally marked by tragedy when seven-time Cup Series champion Dale Earnhardt lost his life on the final lap.
