During a recent guest appearance on "Despierta America," Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband, Ojani Noa, partially attributed the breakdown of their marriage to Sean "Diddy" Combs. Reflecting on the demise of his union with Lopez, which spanned from 1997 to 1998, Noa asserted, "Diddy played a part in that divorce."
"When Sony showered her with millions for her work, there was Puffy [Combs], poised to produce several tracks on her debut album 'On The 6,'" Noa revealed in Spanish, his voice tinged with resentment. "That's where the deceit, the fabrications, and ultimately our separation began." He recounted being in Los Angeles for the grand opening of his restaurant while Lopez was busy recording the album in Miami and New York.
Elsewhere in the interview, Noa lamented how the collapse of their marriage not only stunted his career growth but also shattered numerous professional opportunities. He further accused Lopez of leveling "bogus" accusations against him, challenging her to recount his alleged offenses and justify her legal actions. "You've accused me, you've lied, you've spun false narratives about me, and you've contacted numerous companies and TV networks to blacklist me," he demanded passionately. "Why, if I haven't wronged you in any way? Let her speak the truth, let her reveal the whole story," he insisted.
Lopez and Combs dated between 1999 and 2001. In the aftermath of Combs' legal woes, numerous photographs from their relationship have come to light. Additionally, several women, including his ex-girlfriend Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, have sued the Bad Boy Records mogul for sexual assault.
