Mariah Carey is poised to transcend mere sweet, enchanting fantasies at the 2026 Winter Games. After all, the "Obsessed" singer hit all the right notes while performing at Milan's San Siro Stadium during the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina. Donning a sparkling white gown and a billowing feather boa, Mariah dazzled onstage on February 6 as she began with Domenico Modugno's "Volare (Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu)." She then transitioned seamlessly to her 2025 track "Nothing Is Impossible," complete with her iconic high notes as backup dancers moved around the spiral stage.

The honor was not lost on the Grammy winner, who hinted at the extensive rehearsal required for the performance. As she explained on The Big Tigger Morning Show last month, "I can't believe it. I have to sing in Italian."

While Mariah won't be winning actual gold at the Winter Games, she did recently add a new trophy to her own collection ahead of the ceremony: MusiCare's Person of the Year. As she accepted the award on January 31, she reflected on the support that had made her own dreams a reality.

"It means so much," said Erin during a February 3 appearance on Today. "I ran into one of my teammates in the cafeteria yesterday, and he was like, 'I've been voting for you like crazy.' It's a really big honor."

Frank—who is also a U.S. Army Sergeant—added, "It's sort of wearing two uniforms, and I'm grateful for the opportunity. I've learned a lot through serving in the U.S. Army, and I think it's made me a better bobsledder, father, husband, teammate, and ultimately, I'm very grateful for all of this."
