In the caption accompanying his hospital-bed selfie, where he flashed an reassuring thumbs-up, he recounted, "Remember that moment when the house PA was so inadequate that I attempted, one-handed, to swivel the stage monitor towards the eager crowd during a mix, hoping to pump them up even more? Little did I realize... those monitors weighed more than I had anticipated. And thus, after popping two bicep tendons and wrapping up a gritty gig, here I am, folks! #tornthisway."
This harrowing incident occurred mere days after the announcement of his upcoming memoir titled "Night People: How To Be A DJ In ’90s New York City," set for release in September.
