Maura Higgins has shed light on her choice to don wigs during her time on The Traitors and what her natural hair truly resembles. The 35-year-old Irish TV star emerged as one of the standout personalities in season four of the American version of The Traitors, renowned for her glamorous looks and bold fashion sense. In an interview with Interview Magazine, Higgins revealed that wigs were a crucial part of her beauty strategy on the show.

"I'm not the best at styling my hair - I simply lack patience. I find more joy in doing my makeup than my hair," Higgins shared when asked about her routine. She explained that the filming conditions in the Scottish Highlands made it challenging to manage her naturally curly locks.
"I brought wigs to The Traitors because my hair is so curly and gets so frizzy, so it was the best thing I did on the show," she said. "On missions when we were in water and the weather wasn't ideal - it was raining and cold - I would just slip a little beanie cap on, complete the mission, and then when I returned, I would put my wig back on, which was already styled. It was the best thing I did."
Higgins also shared, "I've had gray hair since I was 17, so I always have to cover my roots."
By sharing her experience and revealing her natural hair's true nature, Higgins has not only provided insight into her beauty routine but also added a personal touch to her already captivating persona.
