Megan Thee Stallion was swiftly rushed to the hospital after suddenly falling ill during the Broadway musical, Moulin Rouge! The news of her hospitalization sent a chill down the spines of her devoted fans, particularly those who recall her previous hospitalization in 2020, when her ex-partner, Tory Lanez, shot her in the feet.

Initially, Stallion had given a false testimony to protect the rapper, claiming that she had merely stepped on glass. However, just a month after the incident, she shocked the world by going live on Instagram and revealing the truth – it was Lanez who had shot her.

"You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people to lie to these blogs," she said at the time.

Two years later, in an interview with Rolling Stone, she recounted the details of her recovery. "I was in New York for a while. Both of my legs were wrapped up. I couldn't walk. I still have bullet fragments in my feet right now."

"I was terrified that I would never be Megan Thee Stallion again. I was f**king upset," she added.

Despite the ordeal, the 'Wanna Be' hitmaker revealed that she learned to walk again through intensive physical therapy in New York and Tampa. And as for Lanez, he was sentenced to a decade in prison in 2023 for shooting Stallion.
