Zayn Malik has finally revealed the sweetest thing his five-year-old daughter, Khai, has ever said about his music. In a recent interview with SiriusXM's The Pulse, while promoting his upcoming album Konnakol, the 33-year-old singer shared that his little girl not only loves his music but also gives him feedback on it.
"I don't want to play my songs to her because there are some cuss words and concepts that are a bit adult," Zayn said. "But she loves my music, and she definitely gives me an opinion."
The crooner of "What Makes You Beautiful" further added, "She does this thing where she does like thumbs up, thumbs down, and even a thumb sideways. If you get a thumbs up and a thumb sideways, it means it's pretty good."
"She gave me a double thumbs up for a few songs and there was like a side one for one or two, I think, that she wasn't really into," he added.
Zayn also revealed that Khai, whom he shares with supermodel Gigi Hadid, is aware that her dad is a pop star. "I think she's five. She has some concept of it. I don't think she really understands what it is, but she knows her dad's a pop star and that her dad sings," he said. "And sometimes, as a 5-year-old does, she flexes it a little bit."
"So yeah, she's somewhat aware, but I don't think she understands the full extent of it," the singer added.
For those who are unaware, Zayn's latest album Konnakol is set to be released on April 17.
