Meghan McCain has officially become a boy mom! The View alum and her husband, Ben Domenech, welcomed their third bundle of joy – a son named Ransom McCain Domenech, on January 2nd. He joins their two daughters, Liberty, 5, and Clover, 2. "Everyone is happy, healthy, and exhausted," Meghan shared in a statement to People, published on January 3rd. "We're absolutely over the moon that our baby boy has arrived."
In an Instagram post, the 41-year-old – who tied the knot with Ben, 44, in 2017 – thanked the hospital staff for taking "such wonderful care of all of us," adding that her girls were eager to start bonding with their new sibling. "Liberty and Clover couldn't be more excited to have a baby brother," Meghan wrote alongside a photo of her and Ben embracing their newborn. "Our family is overwhelmed with blessings. Thank you all for your kind words, well wishes, and prayers! Our family is officially a party of five."

Meghan first shared the news of her pregnancy in June, admitting that she was slightly apprehensive about expanding her family. "I know this is a weird way to announce it," she said on an episode of her Citizen McCain podcast in June. "It's a boy. I'm very nervous about having a boy. And I'm very nervous about having three children. Very."
However, the political commentator has also been vocal about how motherhood has transformed her in a positive light, including making her a more "patient" person. "Every single day is like an exercise in patience and humility because you know nothing is about you anymore," she told People in January 2024. "From the moment I wake up in the morning to the moment I go to sleep at night, it's about making sure my girls are okay. It's about taking care of them, feeding them, giving them baths, reading books, saying prayers – all those things."
Meghan added, "You become really humbled in the best way possible, and it certainly changes your perspective on the world."
