Megyn Kelly recently made a daring pronouncement regarding Taylor Swift's friendship with Blake Lively, her words unfiltered and direct as ever. On April 24th, the 54-year-old former Fox News anchor, accompanied by her spouse Douglas Brunt, 53, graced the red carpet of the prestigious 2025 Time100 Gala at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Amidst the glitterati, Kelly was quizzed about Lively's inclusion in Time magazine's list of Most Influential People. "She's only featured because she's a celebrity," Kelly responded, according to Variety, further alleging that Lively's accusations against her 'It Ends With Us' co-star Justin Baldoni amounted to "bogus Me Too claims."

The conversation took an intriguing turn when Kelly referenced an old text message from Lively, where she playfully likened herself to "Khaleesi" from 'Game of Thrones' and Swift to her "dragon." "Whether Taylor Swift is indeed her dragon remains a mystery to me," Kelly remarked to Variety. "But that's what Blake Lively stated, so I suppose I must accept her word for it. If I were in Taylor's shoes, I'd clarify the matter. Clearly, she's choosing to stay silent," she added.

Since the revelation of Lively's texts mentioning Swift, the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker has remained tight-lipped on the subject. The megastar of the 'Eras Tour' has also refrained from publicly commenting on the ongoing legal saga involving Lively and Baldoni.

Swift and Lively have enjoyed a long-standing bond. In 2024, the 'So High School' singer welcomed the 'Gossip Girl' actress to Super Bowl LVIII to cheer on Swift's beau, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as his team triumphed over the San Francisco 49ers. Moreover, Swift incorporated Lively and Ryan Reynolds' daughter James' voice at the outset of her song 'Gorgeous.' She even went a step further, weaving the names of all three of their daughters—James, Inez, and Betty—into her track 'Betty.'
